The prevalence of periodontal tissue diseases in children with overweight was observed 1.45 times more often than that in children with normal body weight. Chronic catarrhal gingivitis prevails among the diseases of periodontal tissues. A higher level of the proinflammatory cytokines IL-1, TNF, IL-6 was noted on the background of a decrease of anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-4 and a decrease in the content of immunoglobulins in the oral fluid of children with CCG and overweight compared with their levels in children with normal body weight. The direct strong correlation between the proinflammatory cytokines and PMA index and OHI-S indices was established.
