The dissertation is devoted to the study of the efficiency of treatment of diabetic polyneuropathy and arterial hypertension in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus by influencing on the following: clinical manifestations, different types sensitivity disworders, reducing of neuropathic pain severity (studied with the help of a modified questionnaire DN4), the occurance of arterial hypertension and quality of life whith introducing Uridine (Keltikan) and light therapy procedures. It was established the expediency of inclusion in the basic therapy of patients with diabetes polarizing light, which contributes to the improvement of various types of sensitivity (temperature on 60,9 %, pain, tactile and vibration for 73,7 %, 48,1 % and 41,4 %, respectively), and the preparation Uridine (Keltikan) under the influence of which the intensity of neuropathic pain is significantly reduced. Together they have positive effect on clinical manifestations of diabetic polyneuropathy, lowering blood pressure, correcting imbalance in the system of lipid peroxidation and antioxidant defense, thus improving the patient’s life quality. Based on the performed research, differentiated regimens for the treatment of diabetic polyneuropathy have been developed and tested, depending on violations of different types of sensitivity and manifestations of neuropathic pain in order to improve the quality of life of patients.
