Kruk Y. Economical foundation of stevegore activity development in Ukraine

An object is processes of forming the economic fundamentals of the operation and development of stevedoring as a servicing system of maritime transport, which is carried out in highly competitive markets for port; an aim development of economic fundamentals to ensure the development of stevedoring activities, as serving system of maritime transport of Ukraine; methods - analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, statistical, comparative analysis and graphical interpretation, methods of logical and structural analysis, separate sections of econometrics and operations research; novelty: improvement and deepening of theoretical positions and scientific and methodological approaches, providing practical recommendations on the formation of economic foundations to ensure the development of stevedoring activities as a servicing system of maritime transport in Ukraine, in order to increase the level of competitiveness of the port industry of Ukraine; improved: methodological provisions for finding an equilibrium solution in a competitive environment for the implementation of stevedoring activities, within the framework of serving sea transport systems such as oligopoly, and in the context of random fluctuations in cargo traffic volumes; methodological foundations for building a model for optimizing capital investments in the development of service systems for maritime transport methodological provisions on the formation of an inter-sectorial dynamic model of market equilibrium of stevedoring activities in Ukraine; theoretical and methodological approach to the formation of investment programs for the development of stevedoring activities as a process of analysis, modeling and forecasting, which is based on a set of target integral indicators of performance results and takes into account private and public functions of business entities. Theoretical and practical results consist in the development of scientific and methodological provisions and the provision of practical recommendations, the implementation of which contributes to the capabilities of the national transport industry and its stevedoring enterprises to reach a qualitatively new level of development, to strengthen their competitiveness in the port services markets.
