The thesis is devoted to the study of the value of undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia (UDCT) in the development of vascular complications and arterial hypertension in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM). Patients with signs of UDCT have been found to have more severe diabetes with a tendency to increase HbA1c levels, more frequent development of diabetic nephropathy with microalbuminuria and with decreased of glomerular filtration rate, as well as a tendency to an increase in the frequency of diabetic neuropathy and retinopathy. In the presence of visceral and / or phenotypic signs of UDCT, arterial hypertension was detected significantly more often, was more pronounced, but did not depend on the duration of diabetes. It was established that in patients with type 2 DM, the content of FGF2 is increased compared with the control, in patients with UDCT increased compared with patients without UDCT. With isolated type 2 DM, the content of FGF2 increases during the course of the disease, while in the presence of UDCT, this dependence does not exist, which is due to the initially increased values of FGF2. A statistically significant correlation was found between the FGF2 content in the blood of diabetic patients and the presence and severity of hypertension and the presence of diabetic nephropathy, regardless of the presence of UDCT. A regression model for predicting the development of arterial hypertension in patients with type 2 DM is proposed.
