Essay

The dissertation is a scientific research of police service evaluation, characteristics of its types and features. The level of scientific development and etymological content of the category «police officers’ service evaluation» is analyzed. Concepts and essential features of police evaluation have been identified. It is established that the category of «police service evaluation» is, in its essence, an appraisal-subjective concept, the substantive content of which is carried out in accordance with the rules of the law, which gives room for the use of discretion.
