Essay

The work is devoted to the improvement of primary prevention of inflammatory parodontal diseases (IPD) in adolescent girls with menstrual dysfunction (MD). The pathogenetic role of MD in adolescent girls in development of more severe forms of IPD and the grade of intensity of inflammatory changes in parodontium has been established. The character of conjunction between such factors as genetic burden, burdening of the pre- and postnatal periods, violation of healthy lifestyle and oral hygiene, presence of anomalies in development of dento-maxillary system, the degree of oral dysbiosis, on the one hand, and the development of IPD on the other, were revealed. The predictors of development and severity of IPD were determined. Based on a combination of forecast options, risk groups for development of IPD in the given patient population were proposed, an innovative system for their primary prevention has been developed, and its effectiveness has been evaluated in comparison with the traditional prevention system.
