The dissertation presents a new solution to the urgent scientific task of improving the efficiency of monitoring the condition of patients with glaucoma by developing models, methods and information support of the system for determining the level of intraocular pressure by polarization-optical and geometric characteristics of the cornea. For the first time, a method of parameterization of the image of interference pictures was developed, which combines the steps of converting a picture from full-color RGB of the original to a copy with grayscale, applying the control points of contours of the cornea and isochromes, modeling isochromes at these points, conducting visual inspection and correction of the obtained image automatic counting of the number of pixels of the inner area of ??the isochrome (perimeter) that provides a resolution of at least 0.55 mm / pixel (three times better than known) 11-15 times in parameterization reduces the interference pattern. The method of determining the level of intraocular pressure without mechanical influence on the cornea or the eye is first developed, characterized by the presence of stages of automated determination of parameters of interference patterns (IR), their normalization on the average diameter of the cornea, correction of normalized indicators of IR of the examined eye using the proposed individualized identification of the VOT class with the help of two developed models and the regression equation of additional decision rules, which allows to increase effectiveness of glaucoma diagnosis. For the first time developed and implemented in the software module information support for the assessment of IOP level, which includes the developed methods of parameterization of the image of interference patterns and determination of the level of intraocular pressure using geometric and polarization-optical parameters of the cornea and the proposed system of two-level classification of IOP, which provided its definition impact on the cornea or eye and made it possible to improve the results of glaucoma treatment in 17% of patients due to timely detection and the increased level of VOT.
