The dissertation is devoted to the formation of conceptual foundations and the development of theoretical and applied aspects for improving the mechanisms of strategic planning in the management system of food businesses. Studies have shown that increasing the efficiency of the formation and use of all types of resources for enterprise development requires the formation of strategic management systems that adequately react to the actions of the market mechanism and open up to producers a wide range of opportunities for the development and adoption of sound, well-founded solutions for all aspects of their activities.To achieve this goal, the author developed an interpretation of the category of strategic planning as the conceptual basis of the marketing management process.
