Essay

In the work, as a result of experimental and clinical research with the use of general-clinical, pathophysiological, genetic, biophysical, histological, morphometric, statistical methods, a method of increasing the efficiency of diagnosis and treatment of purulent-inflammatory diseases of the maxillofacial area in patients with diabetes mellitus, with the help of ' the characterization of the disease in patients with polymorphism of genes of the second stage of detoxification, pro- and anti-inflammatory cytokines, vascular growth factors and Application in the complex treatment of preparations of the group of thiopoietins. The association between IL-1β, IL-10, VEGF, GSTT1 and the risk of odontogenic phlegmon of the maxillofacial area in patients with diabetes mellitus is proved. The risk of developing suppurative complications of wound healing in the skin increased in patients with deletion of the GSTT1 gene. The presence of the allele T gene of IL-1 and the allele A gene of IL-10 in patients with diabetes mellitus was accompanied by a maximum among other observation groups, the severity of the clinical signs of odontogenic phlegmon, and an increase in the duration of treatment. Inclusion in the standard regimen of odontogenic phlegmon of the maxillofacial area of the preparation of the thiopoetin group in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus reduces the severity of the course of the disease and the duration of treatment.
