The thesis is devoted to the development of theoretical and methodological approaches and substantiation of practical recommendations as regards the formation of the market for investment resources for the construction industry. Economic essence of investment resources market, its characteristics, components, conditions, and factors of influence on the formation of investment resources market for the construction industry are investigated. A methodological approach to the modelling of demand and supply in the market for investment resources is developed. State and trends of development of the building and construction sector are diagnosed, demand and supply in the market for investment resources are analysed. A methodological approach to the modelling of demand and supply in the market for investment resources in the construction industry is justified. Scientific-methodological approach to the formation of investment resources’ demand and supply function is improved. Methodological provisions of formalisation of balance are substantiated that enables to find optimal values of indicators of characteristics of demand and supply functions, which will ensure achieving a balance of investment resources for the construction industry of Ukraine. Methodological approaches to optimising equilibrium values of factors of supply and demand generation in the market for investment resources in the construction industry are proposed. The corresponding forecasting is carried out.
