The main scientific result of the dissertation is the substantiation of theoretical and methodological principles and scientific and practical recommendations on the improvement of the mechanisms of state regulation of the economic security of the national economy. The dissertation uses a systematic approach to substantiating the definition of the economic security of the national economy, formalizes the mechanisms of state regulation of the economic security of the national economy, proposes the conceptual framework for improving the mechanisms of state regulation of the economic security of the national economy. The critical assessment of the mechanisms of state regulation of the security of macroeconomic processes in the conditions of external threats and opportunities is provided. The branch-regional and ecological mechanisms of the state regulation of the economic security of the national economy are generalized. The financial-investment and socio-demographic mechanisms of state regulation of economic security of the national economy are analyzed. The methodical approach to the integrated assessment of the level of economic security of the national economy has been improved. Strategic programmatic mechanisms of state regulation of economic security of the national economy have been developed. The institutional mechanisms for strengthening the economic security of the national economy are substantiated.
