Essay

The dissertation is devoted to questions of increasing the effectiveness of treatment of arterial hypertension in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The tasks are solved by selecting antihypertensive and hypoglycemic drugs that do not compete with each other in the liver, and taking into account the state of the antitoxic function of the liver in the treatment. For the first time, it was found that treatment of hypertension in patients with type 2 diabetes, based on intermedication competition of drugs in the liver, has a higher efficiency than standard treatment of hypertension, which does not take into account the interaction of drugs. It has been established that 74% of patients in the main group treated with the competition of liver preparations achieved target blood pressure levels. Instead, in the control group of the target blood pressure reached only 44.6%, p <0.05. The most effective combination of treatment for hypertension with type 2 diabetes is drugs that do not compete in the cytochrome P-450 system.
