The dissertation is devoted to the research of the administrative and legal support of mediation as a way of resolving administrative disputes, analysis of the theoretical basis for the implementation of mediation in Ukraine, taking into account relevant foreign practice, as well as ways to improve the legal and regulatory framework for mediation in the domestic administrative process. The genesis of the mediation institute has been revealed, its essence, structure and features have been clarified, the legal basis of mediation as a way of resolving administrative disputes, as well as types of mediation practice are defined.
