Essay

It is stated that the problem of counteraction to extremism in scientific and theoretical developments should be considered using an integrated approach taking into account various factors, namely: legal, organizational, political, economic, religious, psychological, etc., as extremism, as well as terrorism, becomes multidimensional in globalization character, as a phenomenon associated with globalization processes. The understanding of extremism as actions, as well as ideas, threats and intentions expressed in the public form that violate the rights and freedoms established by the law, the generally accepted norms of public-legal, national, confessional and other social relations, are established the procedure for the activities of state authorities aimed at destabilizing and destroying existing public-managerial and political relations. The nature of extremism is described as a diverse, multifaceted social phenomenon that has a tendency for constant transformation. In the broad (socio-philosophical) sense, the understanding of extremism manifests itself in the demonstration of opposing positions and views typical of a particular social space. In the narrow (legal and politically pragmatic) sense, extremism is an active opposition to established rules of conduct and practice (primarily legal, political and ideological), which is expressed mainly through physical violence, physical, moral and material harm
