The dissertation is devoted to the study of the formation and development of the administrative and legal principles of prosecutorial activities in the field of execution of sentences. The concept and content of prosecutorial activities in the field of execution of punishments are defined. The goals and tasks of the prosecutor's activity in the field of execution of punishment are found out. The principles of prosecutorial activities in the field of execution of sentences are described. The content of administrative and legal provision of prosecutorial activities in the field of execution of punishment is disclosed. The description of the competence and powers of the prosecutor's office in carrying out activities in the field of execution of sentences is given. The description of the main functions of the prosecutor's office in the field of execution of sentences is given. The basic rights and duties of the prosecutor, who carries out prosecutorial activities in the field of execution of punishment, are specified. The forms and methods of prosecutorial activities in the field of execution of sentences are specified. The peculiarities of responsibility and control over the implementation of prosecutorial activities in the field of execution of punishment have been studied and summarized, and the tasks and directions of improvement of prosecutorial activities in the field of execution of punishments have been identified.
