The dissertation is devoted to the complex theoretical study of the legal principles of use and protection of lands of pipeline transport. The historical and legal analysis of formation and development of legislation regulating relations in the field of use and protection of pipelines, as well as the legal principles of operation of pipeline transport as an integral part of the transport system has been carried out in the scientific work. The concept and composition of pipelines 'land are defined; legal forms of use and protection of pipelines' land are described. In the dissertation the complex analysis of legal relations concerning use of lands of pipeline transport is carried out. The object-subject structure of legal relations concerning the use of pipeline transport lands is revealed, as well as preconditions for the origin of the right to use pipelines are determined. The attention is also paid to the scientific and theoretical analysis of the termination of the right to use land pipelines. The proposals on amendments and additions to regulatory legal acts in the field of legal regulation of the use and protection of pipelines are grounded. The legal measures for the protection of pipelines were determined and their classification was made. The legal regime of lands of security zones was established.
