The dissertation focuses on the development of theoretical positions and methodical approaches, the providing practical recommendations for improving the efficiency of the implementation of the organizational and economicgovernance mechanism of economic security of machine-building enterprises. The essence of the economic security of enterprises is developed. The essence of the concept "organizational and economic mechanism of governance of economic security of the enterprise" is specified. The structure of such a mechanism is proposed. The methodical tool for evaluating the effectiveness of the organizational and economic mechanism for governanceof the economic security of the enterprises was improved. The tendencies of development of machine-building enterprises with regard to ensuring their economic security are revealed. The analysis of the influence of factors and the state of economic securitygovernance of machine-building enterprises is carried out. The evaluation of the effectiveness of the mechanism of organizational and economic governance of their economic security has been carried out. The conceptual provisions of the governance of economic security of machine-building enterprises were proposed. The prediction of the values of target performance indicators for the given environmental parameters is carried out. The strategies of economic security management, their tools, measures and goals, strategic model of behavior of the control subsystem are substantiated. A model for introducing changes in the implementation of the organizational and economic mechanismand a set of preventive measures for the early warning of threats to economic security is proposed. Using of audit, benchmarking and corporate social responsibilityin the process of realization of mechanism of governance of economic security of enterprisesis proposed.
