The work is devoted to the problems of theoretical generalization of the features of legal regulation of the procedure of moving objects of intellectual property right through the customs border of Ukraine. The genesis of national legislation and the development of scientific thought, the objects of intellectual property and goods that are subject to protection by the customs authorities are described, as well as the classification of subjects of legal relations that take direct part in moving such goods through the customs border of Ukraine is carried out.
