Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the synthesis, structure and study of the physical and chemical properties of palladium(II) coordination compounds with 5-substituted-3-(2-pyridyl)-1,2,4-triazoles. 41 new coordination palladium(II) compounds based on the of 34 substituted 3-(2-pyridyl)-1,2,4-triazoles have been obtained and characterized. 11 ligands have been synthesized for the first time. The compounds obtained were identified by elemental analysis and mass spectrometry and characterized by IR, UV, multinuclear single- and two-dimensional NMR spectroscopy. The X-ray diffraction analysis revealed the molecular and crystalline structure of 9 palladium complexes. It has been shown that 3-(2-pyridyl)-1,2,4-triazoles with aliphatic substituents in DMSO and THF solutions exist in three tautomeric forms. The influence of the nature of the substituents in the 5th position of 3-(2-pyridyl)-1,2,4-triazoles on the protolytic and luminescent properties of the compounds is investigated. Determined that the complex structure of Pd(Laryl)2 has fluorescent properties of the most promising. For example, compound of Pd(HLMe)Cl2 show that this complex exhibits a better cytotoxic effect than cisplatin. It has been shown that Pd(Lalk)2 compounds are effective catalysts for organic C‒C bond formation reactions (Suzuki and Henry reactions) and can be used during five or more catalytic cycles. The ability to remove protection from functional groups in coordinated ligands has been shown
