Essay

The dissertation is devoted to management of patients with acute coronary syndrome without ST segment elevation and concomitant Helicobacter pylori associated chronic gastritis. The clinical course, complete blood count and lipid profile, electrocardiogram and echocardioscopy features were investigated in men and women with acute coronary syndrome without ST segment elevation and concomitant Helicobacter pylori associated chronic gastritis or without it. In patients with acute coronary syndrome without ST segment elevation and helicobacter associated chronic gastritis versus patients with concomitant helicobacter associated functional dyspepsia and without Helicobacter pylori infection the significantly highest intensity of chest pain and dyspepsia syndrome and significantly prevalent complete blood count and lipid profile changes were revealed among men versus women. The were significantly prevalent in the group of patients with acute coronary syndrome without ST segment elevation and Helicobacter pylori associated chronic gastritis versus patients with concomitant Helicobacter pylori associated functional dyspepsia and without Helicobacter pylori infection as well, especially among men. We proposed the triple eradication therapy with pantoprazole, amoxicillin and clarithromycin additionally to the standard therapy, which helped to shorten terms of hospitalization and pain syndrome duration and achieve significant improvement of complete blood count and lipid profile in men with their normalization after treatment in women.
