The dissertation explores the forms of poetic works by P.Karmansky, the features of versification are comprehensively studied and analyzed. The poet's poetry works are systematized on the basis of his collections, publications in periodicals of that time and manuscripts. The main characteristics of metrics, rhythms, strophic structure and rhyming, features of the author's rhymes in verse works in the aspect of diachrony are revealed. In general, P.Karmansky's works are notable for the novelty of a poetic form. The statistical data add a lot to the understanding of P.Karmansky's versification and illustrate the picture of the national versification of the end of the 19th and first half of the 20th century.
