Serdulets Y. Clinical and pathogenetic features and treatment of osteoarthritis associated with type 2 diabetes in obese and arterial hypertension patients

The dissertation is devoted to the improvement of diagnostics and treatment efficiency of patients with osteoarthrosis (OA), combined with type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM 2), obesity (OB) and arterial hypertension (AH) based on the additional investigation of lipid's profile, activity of oxidative stress and antioxidant protection, systemic inflammation markers levels (interleukin-18, -10), the parameters of cartilage tissue remodeling (matrilinum 3), and the genes’allelic state of IL-10 (rs1800872) and MATN3 (rs77245812) as individual risk factors, by additional appointment to the basic therapy of atorvastatin and L-arginine. Under the influence of complex treatment of OA patients, the improvements of clinical course, positive dynamics of the lipid's spectrum, antioxidant defense parameters, cytokine profile, and extracellular matrix protein matrilin 3 were observed.
