The dissertation is devoted to experimental and theoretical research of RC structures strengthened by CFRP, according to the energy approach, namely beam bending structures. Thesis was performed for the development purpose of method for assessing the durability of RC beams strengthened by CFRP and the life resources on the basis of the energy approach and defects development in the material during cyclic deformation and technical means of non-destructive testing and the use of the proposed method after the reconstruction of RC structures. To accomplish this goal were resolved such tasks as: an analytical review of the known methods of RC beams strengthening and the methodology of their calculation was carried out; the calculation model and the calculating methodology the durability of RC strengthened beams under cyclic deformation have been developed; an experimental methodology has been formulated for determining the bearing capacity and durability of RC beams strengthened by CFRP under static and cyclic loadings; the estimation method of the stress-strain state of RC beams on the basis of the method of optic-digital image correlation (ODIC) is developed; the bearing capacity and deformability of adhesive bonding using non-destructive control methods are investigated; comparison of experimental data with numerical methods; the inspection of the developed methods and the obtained results during testing of in-situ bridge structures was carried out.
