Minakova O. Economic planning and forecasting of food industry development in Ukraine

The dissertation is devoted to the systematization of theoretical principles and the substantiation of practical recommendations for the development of modern areas of economic planning and forecasting of the food industry development in Ukraine. The essence of the economic category of "planning" is substantiated. The common and differences of planning and forecasting in economy are determined on the basis of scale, objects, purpose, goals, specific installation. The scientific and methodical approach to planning of the industry development is developed, which is based on a comprehensive analysis of the experience of using socio-economic forecasting and planning methods in the leading countries of the world and provides an opportunity to substantiate the perspective directions of the industry's development.
