Dissertation is independent research, which contains legal systematization of the doctrine going near functioning of public inspection of activity of organs of the National police of Ukraine, clarification and ground of concept «Public inspection», his forms, maintenance, subjects and place, in the process of construction and legal development of Ukrainian society, and also the state. In dissertation a concept is investigational public inspection, as scientifically legal model category and institute of public inspection of activity of organs of the National police of Ukraine, as his specific difficult variety effective realization of which provides functioning of all law-enforcement system. The criteria of classification of forms and types of public inspection of activity of organs of the National police of Ukraine, his basic directions and methods of achievement of legal result, are analysed. Separate attention is spared administrative activity of organs of the National police of Ukraine, as object of public inspection, its essence is certain. Correlation of public inspection is considered with state, public and social control. Experience of functioning of institute of public inspection of activity of organs of police is investigational in the foreign states, modern state of realization of public inspection after activity of organs of the National police in Ukraine, directions of overcoming of existent contradictions are specified with the purpose of his perfection and optimization
