Parkhanov H. Administrative and Legal Principles of Preventive Activity of the National Police of Ukraine

The dissertation is devoted to the definition of the essence and peculiarities of the administrative and legal principles of the preventive activity of the National Police of Ukraine. On the basis of the analysis of existing theoretical views, an updated understanding of the essence and peculiarities of the implementation of preventive activities carried out by the bodies and units of the National Police as an object of administrative and legal research was proposed. The legal principles of preventive activity of the National Police of Ukraine were investigated and the place among them of administrative-legal regulation was determined, which made it possible to propose concrete changes to the current legislation in the part of procedural application of preventive police measures. The preventive work of the police in the field of the permissive system is described. Peculiarities of carrying out preventive work in the field of ensuring road safety are formulated. The content of preventive police activity on juvenile prevention is determined. The foreign experience of carrying out preventive activities by law enforcement agencies and the possibility of its adaptation into the activities of the National Police of Ukraine has been characterized, as well as proposals aimed at improving the legal and organizational support of the administrative and legal mechanism for the implementation of the preventive activities of the National Police of Ukraine.
