Objective: theoretical, methodological and practical justification improvement of innovative development strategic management Ukrainian seaports to improve the performance indicators, the growth of the company and maximize the efficiency of economic activity under the innovation influence. The object of the research is the strategic management of ports, which is aimed at improving competitiveness through innovation. Methods: bibliometric methods and lexicographical analysis; historical and cluster analysis; structural and functional metasyntez; multi-factor analysis; statistical and economic grouping; expert; scoring; method of scenarios; analysis and synthesis; abstract and detailed, comparative characteristics. The following was improved: scientific basis for the strategic development of innovative enterprises; mechanism for creating and implementing innovative strategies; model architecture and interaction within the innovation process; scientific and methodical approach to the process of organizational and economic mechanism of seaports innovation; Foresight methodology organization - innovative development project of the seaport. The following received further development: program of overall innovation strategy development of global transport infrastructure of seaports; model of public-private partnership in the management of seaports, organizational and economic management technique of concession mechanism was classified. Scope: seaports and enterprises of other sectors of the national economy
