This thesis research was devoted to the study of native semen of foreign-bred breeding boars (Large White, Landrace, Duroc, Pietrain breeds and terminal boars) using modern methods that allow for objective evaluation of morphological and genetic semen qualities. A range of scientific researches was conducted for definition of reproductive, fattening and meat qualities of purebred large white sows (LW) improved with Irish selection and large white × landrace sows combination (LW × L) with foreign-bred boars.
