Essay

The complex of didactic conditions which makes for the positive dynamics of primary school pupils’ intellectual giftedness development was distinguished and grounded theoretically in the dissertation (actualization of the motivational-evaluative basis of primary school pupils’ intellectual activity; creation of problem stimulating environment on the principles of innovative technologies of teaching at primary school and IT-technologies integration; individualization of intellectually gifted children teaching taking into account the features of primary education content; purposeful forming of reflexive abilities as a means of realization of such processes as self-actualization, self-training, self-appraisal, self-perfection, self-realization); the essence of notions “intellect”, “giftedness”, “intellectual giftedness” was revealed; the characteristics of primary school pupils’ intellectual giftedness development were shown; the criteria and indexes of primary school pupils’ intellectual giftedness development are specified. The object of the study is primary school pupils’ intellectual giftedness development in the process of teaching. The subject of the study is the didactic conditions of primary school pupils’ intellectual giftedness development and the model of their realization in the process of teaching. The purpose of the study is to ground theoretically and test experimentally the effectiveness of the didactic conditions of primary school pupils’ intellectual giftedness development. Methods of the research: theoretical: analysis, generalization, systematization of philosophy and psychology – pedagogical works of foreign and Ukrainian authors on the problem with the aim to reveal the essence of the main dissertation notions and to ground the didactic conditions of primary school pupils’ intellectual giftedness development; empirical: diagnostic (questionnaires, surveys, conversations, control works, testing); observational (direct, indirect, observation, retrospective analysis of pedagogical experience), prognostic (expert evaluation, generalization of independent characteristics), praxymmetric (analysis of primary school pupils’ educational activity products, analysis of advanced pedagogical experience); pedagogical experiment for revealing of efficiency of realization of didactic conditions of development of intellectual giftedness of primary school pupils; statistical: methods of mathematical statistics for the processing of experimental data, proving the probability of the results of experimental research. On the basis of qualitative and quantitative analysis of the diagnostic information (on the results of the pedagogical experiment) the effectiveness of creating proposed didactic conditions and the model of their realization functioning was confirmed. The practical significance of the obtained results. The materials of the dissertation may be used in the courses of Pedagogy and History of Pedagogy, optional courses for students of higher education pedagogical establishments, in the system of teachers’ competence development, in course-books, tutorials, conducting students’ teaching practice, the results of the study can become the basis for the scientific research activity of students, graduates, postgraduates working at the problems of school.
