In the dissertation the complex research of interaction of subjects of protection of the environment is carried out. The general theoretical positions are considered and the historical periods of formation and development of the legislative base on environmental protection in Ukraine are singled out and described. The theoretical and methodological approaches to the study of administrative and legal protection of the natural environment are revealed. The normative-legal principles of administrative-legal protection of the natural environment are covered. The powers of environmental protection bodies have been clarified. The ecological monitoring and correlation of ecological expertise and environmental impact assessment in the field of environmental protection are researched, as well as features of administrative responsibility in the field of environmental protection are outlined. The concept, principles and role of interaction of subjects of environmental protection are defined. The proposals and recommendations related to the improvement of the interaction mechanism of environmental protection actors are formulated.
