Savchenko L. Optimization of treatment chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients with obesity based on the study of the clinical and pathogenetic features of a combined pathology

The thesis is devoted to increase of efficiency of treatment of COPD in combination with obesity by means of individualized modification the way of life as a component of complex medical therapy on the basis of studying clinical and pathogenetic features combined pathology. It has been established that a positive nutritional energy balance, disruption of dietary behavior in the context of reduced physical activity contributed to the progression of clinical manifestations of COPD, impaired functional parameters and an increase CRP and leptin levels in serum and IL-26 in the induced sputum of patients. The content of IL-26 in the induced sputum of patients with COPD and the dependence of its concentration on anthropometric, clinical and functional parameters, quality of life of patients, the content of CRP and serum leptin was determined. It has been established a positive effect of the developed therapeutic complex on anthropometric, clinical and functional parameters and the content of CRP in serum and IL-26 in induced sputum in COPD patients in combination with alimentary obesity.
