In the thesis the author discovered some modern features of investigation of crimes related to the establishment or maintenance of brothels and procuring. Based on an integrated approach it is also defined criminological characteristics of creating or running brothels and procuring, outlined its elements, proposed the list of circumstances to be established, typical versions according to investigative situations which can arise during the investigation are also described, planning of criminal proceedings, signs that indicate detection of brothels and procuring, start of the preliminary investigation, features of investigative (detective) actions and use of expertise are disclosed, the author also paid attention to preventive activity of investigator. All this stuff allows to create a scientific basis of methods of investigation crimes related to the establishment or maintenance of brothels and procuring.
