Avramenko A. Legal regulation of relations concerning the treatment and protection of personal data of an employee in the labor law of Ukraine.

The dissertation is devoted to the scientific-theoretical, legal and practical problems of legal regulation of the circulation and protection of personal data of an employee in Ukraine. The author’s definition of concepts such as «personal data of the employee», «circulation of employee’s personal data», «protection of employee’s personal data» and others is given in the work. The historical and legal periodization of the formation and development of the Institute for the protection of personal data of an employee in Ukraine was systematized, the principles and functions of personal data protection were systematized, the task of the circulation of personal data of the employee at each stage of the development of labor relations was determined. In order to further improve the national legislation and practice of its application, proposals are made regarding the necessity of making appropriate changes and additions to the current legislation of Ukraine, in particular, the Code of Labor Laws of Ukraine, the Law of Ukraine «On the Protection of Personal Data», the recommendations on the need to revise the Labor Code the code of Ukraine, etc.
