Essay

The object of research is the process of deformation and destruction of eccentrically compressed stone pillars damaged during the operation with different parameters of damage; the purpose of the study is to develop a model for quantifying the carrying capacity of eccentrically compressed damaged stone pillars based on a study of their stress-strain state; methods - collecting, studying and analyzing of reference, mathematical theory of experiment planning, modern methods for measuring material deformations, processing and analyzing experimental results, mathematical and physical modeling of stress-strain state of experimental samples, comparing simulation results with experimental data; results - as a result of experimental and theoretical studies, a computational model of damaged compressed stone pillars was created, which can be used in the practice of construction and reconstruction of buildings and structures, which will allow a rational approach to the issue of strengthening and repairing damaged compressed elements, knowing their residual load-bearing capacity; novelty - the degree of influence of damage factors, as well as the eccentricity of application of external compressive force on the bearing capacity of stone pillars damaged during operation, is determined; experimental data obtained on the work of damaged stone pillars; proposed the calculation of the residual load-bearing capacity of damaged stone structural elements of buildings and structures on the basis of the main provisions of the current regulatory documents; a method has been developed for calculating the load-bearing capacity of masonry structures; implemented - in the practice of reconstruction in the development of the project of overhaul of the building of warehouse number 8 at the address: ul. Customs Square, 1 in the city. Odessa and in the educational process OSACEA.
