Voliak Y. Improvement of methods of orthodontic treatment of children with pathology of the jaw system against the background of nasal breathing disorder

The dissertation is devoted to the substantiation of the concept of diagnostics and orthodontic treatment of children with pathology of the jaw system, against the background of nasal breathing disorder. During the performance of the work we’ve examined 239 children with dentofacial anomalies. For an objective clinical evaluation of the performed complex operative and orthodontic treatment of patients with the narrowing of the upper jaw and ENT-pathology, the parameters of the width of the upper jaw in the area of 4│4, 6│6 teeth, width and depth of the arche of the palate should be used. According to the results of the analysis of the treatment performed in patients of three age groups. The complex orthodontic and surgical method of treatment of patients with dentoscheletic anomalies and diseases of ENT-organs and nasal breathing disorders, which includes the surgical removal of nasal breathing disorders. Orthodontic treatment is recommended to be performed 1 week after the surgical stage with the use of removable orthodontic devices.
