Essay

The thesis is devoted to improving the effectiveness of treatment of herpes-associated exudative erythema multiforme (HA EEM) of the oral cavity and lips based on the study of clinical and immunological patterns of the disease, the level of endotoxication of the body and the rationale and development of pathogenetically directed therapy and prevention of the disease. A number of features of the development and course of HA EEM, changes in dental status, indicators of humoral and cellular immunity, factors of nonspecific resistance of the oral cavity and the level of endointoxication, which correlate with the severity of the disease and the type of immunopathogenesis. Based on the situational analysis of the clinical features of development and course, the severity of the disease, the clinical and immunological characteristics and the level of endogenous intoxication, the types of immunopathogenesis of HA EEM for differentiated treatment, prediction of the duration of remission and clinical monitoring are formed. Developed treatment algorithms with the inclusion of a combination of drugs Licopid (local), Acyclovir and Enterosgel (topical and enteric) and dispensary observation provide an opportunity to increase the effectiveness of treatment, improve efficiency and reduce the number of complications in patients with HA EEM.
