The dissertation is devoted to the development of theoretical foundations and the substantiation of practical recommendations for the regulation of the food market in Ukraine. The terminological apparatus of research was formed and author's definition of the term "regulation of the food market" was provided. The conceptual approach to the formation of the system of components of food market regulation in Ukraine is proposed. The mechanism of regulation of the food market of Ukraine has been developed, the level of dependence of the average price of products sold by agricultural enterprises within the national economy has been established. The model of implementation of the foreign experience of regulation of the food market of Ukraine has been improved. A model for functioning of the food market and a methodical approach to the analysis of the influence of factors on the food market of Ukraine have been developed using a correlation-regression analysis of average prices of products sold by agricultural enterprises. The classification of food products and the mechanism of regulation of innovative processes for their realization within the food market of Ukraine are proposed.
