Sheliakin O. House imprisonment in criminal proceeding

Thesis reveals results of complex analysis of theoretical and practical issues related to selection and application of such preventive measure as house imprisonment along with formulation and justification of recommendations aimed at improvement of its efficiency in the course of criminal proceeding. It is stressed that the key prerequisite for the preventive measures application to be justified is clear formulation of the aim and grounds in the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and instructions on necessity to take into account all the circumstances during the measure selection. All measure selection requirements must be met to ensure the legitimacy of suspect’s rights restriction.
