Essay

The object of the study are the processes of signals transmission through the house electrical wiring networks (HEWN) with using PLC/BPL technologies. Subject of research - models and methods of calculating of the characteristics of transmission systems (TS) when working on HEWN using PLC/BPL technologies. Research methods. When developing an improved method of calculating the parameters of transmission (operation attenuation and phase) between two arbitrary poles of HEWN the linear chain theory and mathematical model which is the matrix of transmission of the equivalent quadripole are used. The determining of high-frequency parameters of transmission of HEWN two-core cables are performed using the method of calculating symmetric cable pairs, based on the theory of long lines. The research of interference that appears in BPL TS is performed using the mathematical modelling of BPL TS and frequency distortions of signal in the transmission channel in according with telecommunications theory. The research of BPL TS potential characteristics taking into account the specifics of domestic HEWN are performed using the known method of calculating the BPL TS transmission rate in according with telecommunications theory. Theoretical and practical results: The model and methods of calculating the characteristics of transmission systems (TS) that using PLC/BPL technologies when working on HEWN which allow to calculate the power of interference and transmission rate depending on HEWN characteristics are improved. The method of calculating the HEWN parameters of transmission based on the composing the HEWN equivalent scheme which is the cascade connection of quadripoles is developed. This method allows to calculate the transmission parameters between two arbitrary poles of HEWN without the calculation of matrix of scattering. For the first time the dependencies of transmission parameters of domestic HEWN on the range of values of reactive loads are determined. Also the fact that the frequency distortions of transmission channel characteristics is the minimal when the complex resistance of the load is equal to the wave resistance of the branch wire that is the load connected is determined. For the first time the dependencies of the power of interference and data transmission rate in BPL TS using traditional orthogonal harmonic signals of a generalized class (OHS GC) when working on HEWN, built with domestic electrical wire, on type and the value of reactive load on the branch, that is part of HEWN, are determined. For the first time the evaluating of the data transfer rate in BPL TS using OHS GC when working on HEWN, built with domestic electrical wire, taking into account the interference and additive interference, is obtained.
