Mitko Y. Legal Regulation of Social Protection of the Combatants

The dissertation is focused on the problems of improving the legal regulation of social protection of combatants. The author of the dissertation has provided theoretical generalization and a new solution of the scientific problem, which is based on the analysis of scientific views of scholars, the norms of the current legislation of Ukraine, as well as practices of providing social protection for combatants, to determine the essence and peculiarities of social protection of this category of citizens, and on the basis of the most positive experience of foreign countries, to identify possible directions for improving normative and legal regulation of this sphere of social relations.
