Essay

The rational for improving scientific approaches to systematizing components of organization and information support of telecommunication companies management has been defined. It has been established that each of the main components has its own elements and factors, the key of which include: for the organizational structure – the whole hierarchy of the company from senior management to executors; for information component – information resources, information systems, information technologies and technical equipment; for organizational culture – corporate culture, social responsibility, external attributes and company’s behaviour in the market. The rational for peculiarities of organization and information support of telecommunication companies management has been provided. One of the peculiarities is the establishment of feedback “subordinate-manager”, “consumercompany”. The use of such approaches will allow to address organization and information support of companies management in a comprehensive way and to define the strategic areas of activity of telecommunication companies in this context to achieve the maximum level of their development. The key segments in the telecommunications market continue to be mobile, fixed telephone and computer communications. The joint share in total revenues from the provision of telecommunications services in recent years has amounted to 96.8%. The prevailing trends in the communication companies’ activity within recent years have been identified, namely: the growth of their incomes, the increasing number of cellular communications users, the integration of communications companies and re-branding by merging with the world’s companies, the expansion of technical and technological capabilities and the gradual transition to 4G and 5G technologies. An expert review was conducted which established that the companies shape their own internal information space with information flows circulating. The information support of telecommunication companies’ management is characterized by the diversity of information flows and unrelated information systems.
