The dissertation is devoted to the determination of the influence of probabilistic energy inflow from RES on the indicators of balance reliability of electric power systems. The requirements for the flexibility of the UES of Ukraine have been established, depending on the levels of integration of RES. The indicators characterizing the equilibrium of the EES and the factors that are caused by the presence of RES and taking into account the random nature of their generation are determined. The simulation model of the EES for the study of hourly balance of active power with the joint work of wind power plants, power plants, energy storage systems and traditional power plants is improved. The influence of the variable nature of the generation of active power of WEU and SES on the reliability indices of EES with different levels of integration of RES is investigated. The possibility of ensuring balanced work of the power system at different levels of integration of RES and the use of energy storage systems is determined.
