Kolehaiev I. State regulation of innovation development of the sea transport industry of Ukraine in the conditions of market transformations

The research is devoted to substantiation of theoretical and practical principles of state regulation of innovation development of the maritime transport industry. Identified components of the conceptual model of state regulation of innovation development of the maritime transport industry in the conditions of market transformations. It is substantiated that innovative development of the maritime transport industry requires inter-branch technological exchange, support of the investment climate, strengthening of relations between companies in the scientific and educational sector, development of international scientific and technical cooperation, venture investment in new progressive developments, and the formation of innovative infrastructure.The mechanism of state regulation of innovation development of the maritime transport industry in Ukraine is proposed. Formalized key strategic guidelines for state regulation of innovative development of the maritime transport industry in the conditions of market transformations that contribute to the development of the national economy. The methodical approach to assessing the effectiveness of the state policy of formation and implementation of innovations in the marine transport industry of Ukraine during the period of market transformations, which includes a set of stages, is substantiated.
