Thesis for a Candidate Degry in Law, Speciality 12.00.09. - Criminal Process and Criminalistics; Forensic Examination; Operative and Investigate Activity (081 – Law). Academy of Advocacy of Ukraine, Kyiv, 2019. The thesis formulates and substantiates the provisions and conclusions that are relevant for forensic science and investigative practice, related to the peculiarities of the investigation of criminal proceedings committed by members of football fan groups. Issues concerning formation and functioning of such specific youth formation as a group of football fans are considered: the history of their creation, stages of development, classification of fan groups and football fans; social practices in their activities, certain trends and transformations of modern groups. The basics of the general methodology of investigation of crimes committed by members of football fans' groups are revealed and the following structural elements are distinguished: forensic characteristics of this type of crime; typical investigative situations of the initial stage of the investigation and tactics of conducting individual investigative actions (inspection of the scene, questioning of witnesses, victims and suspects, etc.); the interaction of the investigator with the operational units, etc. Possibilities for the application of special knowledge in the investigation of the specified category of crimes were identified. Urgent investigative (search) actions to be carried out at the initial stage of pre-trial investigation by members of football fan groups that are committed in large cities are identified. In addition to the scene inspection, it is also a complex of investigative (investigative) and other procedural actions aimed at establishing, removing video surveillance cameras and using the information obtained from the analysis of crime events and persons involved in criminal events (including eyewitnesses) and victims).
