In the dissertation research: the theoretical foundations and methodological aspects of the research of the mechanism of providing administrative services are revealed; the peculiarities of the legal and regulatory framework for the provision of administrative services in Ukraine at the present stage of the reform of the territorial organization of power are revealed; generalized experience of organization of activity of entities providing administrative services in Ukraine; Practical recommendations for improving the mechanism of providing administrative services in the context of reforming the territorial organization of power in Ukraine are developed, taking into account the basic provisions of the concept of a service state.
