Kukhno S. Formation of competitiveness of Ukraine's mining and metallurgical complex in the conditions of globalization

The object of the research is the processes of managing the competitiveness of interbranch complexes in the context of globalization. The purpose of the research is the substation of theoretical and methodological foundations, development of methodological support and scientific and practical recommendations on the formation of competitiveness of the mining and metallurgical complex of Ukraine in the conditions of globalization. The methods of research are: abstract-logical; theoretical generalization; methods of analysis and synthesis; economic and mathematical modeling; project management and financing method; logical generalization. The scientific novelty of the results of the dissertation consists in deepening of theoretical foundations, improvement of methodological approaches and organization ensure of the formation of competitiveness of Ukraine's mining and metallurgical complex in the conditions of globalization. Theoretical provisions of the concept of formation of competitiveness of industrial complexes in the conditions of globalization have been improved; methodical approach to assessing the level of competitiveness of industrial interbranch complexes; theoretical provisions for assessing the impact of globalization processes on the competitiveness of industry complexes; methodological provisions for the implementation of the cluster policy of the state as a tool for managing the mining and metallurgical complex of Ukraine. The content of the concept of "competitiveness of the industry in the context of globalization" as the ability of the industry to produce goods and services that meet the requirements of world and domestic markets; scientific and methodological approach to the formation of the strategy for managing the competitiveness of the industry; organizational and economic mechanism for implementing a cluster approach to managing the competitiveness of an industry complex have been further development.
