Vudvud O. Substantiation of design parameters of the spring-hydraulic brake of bridge cranes

The dissertation is devoted to the research of the process of braking of bridge cranes by means of a new design of the spring hydraulic brake and is directed on reduction of dynamic loads arising in metalwork and the crane drive during braking. On the basis of the method of gradual increase of the braking force, a new design of the brake is proposed: spring-hydraulic, which when braking the crane, extinguishes the kinetic energy of the crane, transforming it into the potential energy of the compressed spring. The influence of the design parameters of the spring-hydraulic brake on the dynamic loads during the braking of the bridge cranes as well as the influence of spring stiffness on the brake force value have been analyzed and investigated.
