Thesis is a monographic research, which, in the light of modern methods of cognition, the achievements of national and foreign legal science, as well as the current legislation of Ukraine, foreign countries and the EU, considers legal regulation of compulsory payments linked to inheritance and gifts. Research paper studies theoretical and legal bases for making inheritance and gift payments, including inheritance and gifts as a basis for making compulsory payments, and the place of inheritance and gift payments in the compulsory payment system. The genesis of legal regulation of compulsory payments linked to inheritance and gifts has been analyzed.
