Petrah V. Justification of the methods of estimation and selection of silver-black fox by reproductive parameters

The dissertation is devoted to the justification of the methods of estimation and selection of effective options for the selection of silver-black fox according to the parameters of reproductive capacity. The effect of individual exo- and endogenous factors on the reproductive ability of females has been proved. The complex of quantitative methods for assessing and se-lecting of the fox for reproduction was developed and tested, which more accurately than the known ones take into account the individual characteristics of animals in the process of formation of reproductive potential. The best options for the selection of parental pairs by fatness, age, stereotype of sexual behavior and linear mating are revealed. A high level of genetic biodiversity of the experimental fox population was determined by DNA markers ISSR and RAPD.
