The dissertation is devoted to the study of administrative and legal protection of orphans and children deprived of parental care. The features of orphaned children and children deprived of parental care are outlined, the circumstances under which the child receives the status of orphaned child or child deprived of parental care are defined, their rights are defined and characterized. The nature and components of the mechanism of administrative and legal protection of the categories of persons under investigation are identified and revealed. The legislation of Ukraine on protection of orphans and children deprived of parental care has been analyzed and proposals for its improvement have been made. The remedies of orphans and children deprived of parental care were investigated, and special attention was paid to the institute of administrative responsibility as a remedy of the categories of persons being investigated. In addition, proposals have been made regarding the addition of the Code of Administrative Offenses to the chapter that defines responsibility for offenses in the area of orphans and children deprived of parental care. It has been established that administrative and legal protection of orphans and children deprived of parental care is an organizational and legal activity of public administration bodies, which is carried out by means of legal means, aimed at securing and protecting the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of the specified category of children. , courts for various reasons are beyond the scope of family care, and in the case of their violation of the possibility of applying the perpetrators of administrative responsibility. Also, the directions of improvement of administrative and legal protection of orphans and children deprived of parental care are formulated, which are actively promoting issues of adoption of children with the aim of overcoming infant orphans in Ukraine, which should be conducted through informational videos in mass media in women. counseling and maternity hospitals, as well as motivational activities for parents through vocational training sessions aimed at reducing the number of children deprived of their kivskoho care. It is established that the mechanism of administrative and legal protection of orphans and children deprived of parental care is a system of interdependent and interrelated elements, with the assistance of which the public administration and officials protect the orphans and children deprived of parental care. Elements of the mechanism of administrative and legal protection of orphans and children deprived of parental care are: a system of normative legal acts that regulate the legal status of the subject of administrative and legal protection, the object of administrative and legal protection. It is substantiated that the administrative and legal remedies for protection of orphans and children deprived of parental care are the activities of public administration bodies that regulate public relations, through the application of administrative legal means and methods, in the field of protection of the rights of orphans and children deprived of parental care. , in order to respect and protect their rights and interests and to prosecute offenders. It is determined that administrative responsibility for the offense, in the field of administrative protection of orphans and children deprived of parental care is expressed as a kind of administrative responsibility, which is expressed in the application of an authorized public body or an official to administrative offenses against a protection of orphans and children deprived of parental care. At the same time, the signs of the stated administrative responsibility for offenses in the field of administrative and legal protection of orphans and children deprived of parental care were identified.
